The Rotherfield Players

The Rotherfield Players is an amateur dramatic group that pride themselves on providing a varied programme of productions to their best ability. Most of our productions are performed in Rotherfield Village Hall but we are not exclusive in that we have performed Shakespeare extracts in the Kings Arms garden and Godspell was put on in St Denys Church in 2007.

Our approach to theatre is that we like to enjoy ourselves whilst rehearsing and performing, that our audiences enjoy our productions as much as we do, that we encourage the development of youngsters in the area, and that we achieve the highest quality performances that we can muster.

The purpose of this website is: -
- to provide information to our public about forthcoming productions
- to provide information and news to our members about the current production
- to advertise our existence as an amateur theatrical group to people in the area

Amateur dramatics is great fun for everybody whether they are on stage or off stage. Acting provides an opportunity for personal development and confidence building for people of most ages. There is scope for many different skills whether that be acting, musical, set building, project management and even I.T.

If you would like to join the Rotherfield Players please see our "Membership" page.
